Many parents don’t realize how common chemicals are. Even in a simple item like a rubber duck, many are shocked to learn that chemicals and toxins are leaching out. The rubber duck is actually a quite alarming one because, as my children constantly do, the duck goes right in their mouths when in the bathtub.

We are always so happy at Oh Simple Baby to add new products, and we especially love to support the Canadian companies out there! We absolutely love, love, love these BPA-free plates made by Smiling Planet, a small company based in LA. They are not only adorable, but Smiling Planet has gone beyond what most companies would, and have made a completely recyclable, sustainably made product. Amazing

April 13th Update

Finally got the old site down after having both up for a while. Must have been a very confusing time for customers as you tried to navigate through two sites!!!
Luckily it is over and hopefully now my new site will be running smooth from now on.

I have a large amount of new products that I am adding to our shelves right now. My goal is to have them all added by end of next week. Trying to be realistic with that as other commitments need to be met as well. But, end of next week is a promise that they will be there!

Children still asleep- must get to work!

New look, New products…

Organic Knotty Hats by Organic Quilt Co.

So much has been happening lately, being a work-at-home mom is not exactly how I envisioned it, I was sure it would be less busy than if I was working out of the home, but I am starting to wonder… My boys keep me busy, but add the “work at home” to mom and it adds a whole other dimension to daily life. And a part of this craziness has been an Oh Simple Baby revamp!

Along with the new look- which as per the old look, has an easy to use Gift Regsitry- I have added a ton of new products lines to round out the collection at Oh Simple Baby. The old favourites are still around, Naturepedic, SMQ Organics, Natursutten, Green Acre Design Diapers, and Sweet Pea Diapers to name a few, but I have added some really amazing products made by fellow work-at-home Canadians mamas. I am absolutely in love with Organic Quilt Collection’s blankets, burp cloths, everything! I am thrilled to be able to carry her items in my shoppe. Also Bare Organics all-natural organic care products is something I have been planning for a bit and am thrilled to add. A couple of the other new brands are HipKid onesies/tees, which feature cute sayings and images on them, and Organic Beginnings, which offers staple items for a babies wardrobe.
